To my fellow NJAO members,
Thank you for your commitment to organized dentistry and your membership in the Association representing the interests of orthodontists in the State of New Jersey. We’re a relatively small Association, but I can assure you that everyone serving in the NJAO thinks big and is looking out for your best interests.
The NJAO continues to offer relevant continuing education programs for a very reasonable fee at a convenient location right off the NJ Turnpike. Please consider earning your required CE credits by attending NJAO programs. All sessions and registration information can be found on this website.
Speaking of our website, it’s recently been updated and will continue to evolve as a resource for the public seeking information on orthodontics and for our members. Why not add a link on your website to this website?
We need your help! Braces are still a luxury that many citizens of New Jersey cannot afford. Access to care is something that every child deserves, regardless of their economic status. The NJAO is addressing this need by piloting the Donated Orthodontic Services (DOS) program initiated by the AAO. The program relies on participating orthodontists who agree to provide orthodontic care to at least one child. A coordinator from the National Foundation of Dentistry for the Handicapped (NFDH) will act as a qualifier of the child’s financial need.
It is our hope that every orthodontist in the state will be proud to participate in the DOS program and reap the reward of providing a beautiful smile and self-esteem to a child who otherwise couldn’t afford it.
It is my pleasure to serve as your President through 2012.
Regards,
Dr. Eric Wittlinger
President, NJAO
